Round your neck necklace

Jewelery: earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets or bangles: are the most superficial of all accessories and have no purpose but to decorate, ornate or draw attention to a specific spot. so they should be used with attentive restrain. Coco Chanel used to say that you should always take out the last one you had put on. I would say no more than 2 items at the same time and never mix up two metal tones (ig gold andsilver) unless on purpose. Use this 5 combinations. Earrings+Necklace, Earrings+Ring, Bangles+Earrings, Bangles+Necklace or Necklace and Ring. Even so if one of the items is overpowering the other should be quite mute or discrete.

They can really make or break an outfit.
Above I show some of my personal favourites and some options accessorizing some plain top basics (white gap blouse, JCRew polka dot top and a HM black jersey dress).
The 3 necklaces I picked are a white wooden necklace bought at an artisan in Camden Market in London, a Madewell Strass necklace from Newbury Street and a Moroccan style necklace bought in Lisbon.
I believe we should surround ourselves with beautiful and unique pieces. Necklaces shouldn't be an exception of this rule.
Invest in great pieces that you like and you will wear them for a very long time.
